The system uses ASP.NET and Microsoft SQL server platforms. In addition, it allows development using the portal engine or directly in the Visual Studio environment. The product is compatible with Microsoft Windows Azure. Kentico's functionality covers five areas: Content Management System, E-Commerce, Social Networking, Intranet and Online Marketing. It currently contains 40 modules and more than 250 web parts.
